Adrianne Munden-Dixon

Adrianne Munden-Dixon is a NYC-based violinist praised for her “animated and driven” performances (Connect Savannah). She is a current member of the Savannah Philharmonic, Desdemona Quartet, Schiele, and founder of Live Oak Concerts. She has appeared as a chamber musician at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Spectrum, Le Poisson Rouge, Cornelia Street Café, and at Aspen Chapel as a student at the Aspen Music Festival. Adrianne is enthusiastic about sharing her love of violin-playing and chamber music with youngsters. She is a faculty member at Larchmont Music Academy and has led masterclasses at Savannah Arts Academy. Her principal teachers include Carmit Zori, Laurie Smukler, Cyrus Forough, and Cornelia Heard. She received her B.M. from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music and her M.M. from Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of music, Adrianne is a certified yoga instructor and former competitive surfer.
